Big day for the dog lovers of the world! Today is "Take Your Dog To Work Day." Obviously you would want to check with your boss to make sure it's ok. But once you get the green light, there may be a lot of smiles at your job. Unless, of course, they're allergic. For the most part, having dogs around makes people happier and feeling stress-free. You can find out more about the history of Take Your Dog To Work Day HERE.

Also, here are some Do's and Don'ts for Take Your Dog To Work. And I share this one as someone who isn't a huge dog lover and is afraid...I promise I'm not an evil person. Don't throw things at me! I share this...

Avoid forcing co-workers to interact with your dog. Dog lovers will make themselves known. Sally from accounting and Joe in human resources may not want to play fetch or offer belly rubs, so be mindful of fellow employees’ time and space. To avoid pet accidents, monitor the amount of treats your pet is being given from your co-workers. Remember that chocolate, candy and other people food should not be shared with dogs and that not all non-dog owners will be aware that these items can be very toxic to your pooch.

It's not just us regular people bringing dogs to work, there are a lot of celebrities who have been know to take their dog with them on set or to press events. So I thought you would appreciate seeing celebrities showing off their best friends. Enjoy!
