Lenny Kravitz Reveals He’s Celibate, Which Celebrity Calls Him A ‘Weirdo’

Lenny Kravitz reveals he's celibate and the public has responded. But before we get to the more eye opening reactions to Lenny's announcement, let's take a look at the rock star's dating history and what led up to this shocking reveal.

In an interview with The Guardian, Lenny said he has been celibate for years and for him "it's a spiritual thing." The interview was to coincide with Lenny's upcoming 60th birthday which was May 26. Lenny adds that he hasn't been in a serious relationship in 9 years and that he would probably struggle. According to Lenny:  “I have become very set in my ways, in the way I live.” And how does he remain celibate? Lenny says it's simple. He just doesn't let his desires take over.

According to the public reaction to the news, people are either agreeing and celebrating the news or making light of it. One Twitter user wrote: "This is like having a Ferrari and never driving it." While another actually applauds Lenny for his choice writing: "I understand the celibacy. A clear mind is a peaceful and great life. Remove the clouds for clarity." But there is one celebrity who is not embracing this announcement. In fact, he is mocking it. And that is rapper and actor Ice T. Not only did Ice T call Lenny's celibacy "weirdo s**t" but he responded to a Twitter user by saying "F that journey...lol" He also tweeted "Hey..... If you're a Guy and you can voluntarily go 9yrs without sex... You're following the wrong page.. 💥"

Ice T responded to another X user who asked "why judge him though." Ice T tweeted "S*it's Weird to me..... I love to F**k. A lot." He even mocked the whole thing in a separate tweet writing "In other breaking news, my bulldog farted."

The hottest people are celibate? That's what this X user writes. "The hottest people are celibate because they’re the only ones who actually value themselves lowkey." Do you agree? 

According to this X user, they understand Lenny's choice. "I understand the celibacy. A clear mind is a peaceful and great life. Remove the clouds for clarity." Many have said refraining from sex and/or porn clears your mind and helps you focus.
