The summer will be here before we know it. Summer is known for several things. Festivals, concerts, state fairs, barbecues, beach parties and of course concert festivals. When you think of concert festivals, you probably think of Coachella, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza and more. We love festivals too. There’s always so much to do there. Not only can you listen to great music but you can eat great food, drink great drinks, make some new friends, go on rides and so much more. So when a good music festival comes to your town, you have to go right?
For years, there was no music festival for hundreds of miles from the Boston area. That has since changed. Boston Calling has certainly made a name for itself over the years. Previous performers include Eminem, Travis Scott, Sia, Kendrick Lamar and Metallica. You may also remember that Boston Calling was initially held twice a year. Once in May and once in September. That ended up turning into a three day event. It’s held at the Harvard Athletic Complex in Allston. More than 50 artists will be performing including Paramore, Foo Fighters and The Lumineers. If you’d like to get tickets, you can get them HERE.
Where does Boston Calling land on the ranking of best music festivals in the United States? This is according to USA Today readers.
