When Shark Week is life and you have a lot of money, of course it makes sense to go big and build a shark tank.

Wealthy homeowners are opting to fill their living room aquariums with the toothy swimmers, but it turns out sharks don't make the best of pets. Sharks require much more care than a simple fish tank, as they need salt water.

You also need much more space since chances are a shark will outgrow a home tank, with some breeds reaching over 14-feet long.

Are you a pet fish person? What is it that makes you love having fish vs. a cat or dog? Does having a shark as a pet seem a little over the top?
