On Monday (July 27), a fan tweeted Bow Wow, "We keep asking for Bow Wow and Soulja Boy [Verzuz battle]. " However, Bow Wow tweeted the fan back "Not gonna happen." Another fan then asked the rapper, actor, and TV host, "Who would you battle then? or do you not wanna do a Verzuz altogether?" Bow Wow told the fan, "I don't want to."

Someone else then asked the rapper if he was scared. "No. Rather be getting money than playing songs yall heard a million times for an hour," Bow Wow replied.  "Isn't it get annoyin all these ppl tryin to convince u to battle ur homies, like alright already," another fan then asked Bow Wow. "I wish they would stop. Waste of time. I'm not doing Verzuz," he replied.

A few fans continued to try to convince Bow Wow to do a Verzuz battle, but he still wasn't having it. "I come from an era where..if you a legend..you a legend..No need to remind folks. I'm only 33 I got more work to do. A Verzuz for me right now makes no sense."

Bow Wow went on to tell one fan that "I was just part of a good era and music. I wasn't THAT important. Lot of big acts were dominating the 2000's." He also said that there's not another artist for him to "match up with."

A fan brought up that Bow Wow and Omarion going up against another rapper and R&B singer collaboration for a Verzuz battle would be a good idea, and the rapper's response was slightly different. "Now that's hard! Me and O. vs. rapper and R&B singer who also got songs together. That's different," he tweeted.  He also said that he "might" entertain "Ja Rule smoke."

Timbaland decided to chime in the conversation and he said that "he might not have 20 n the bag," referencing 20 hits. However, Bow Wow refuted the super producer's statement. "Yo [Timbaland] said I might not have 20 songs to do a Verzuz...I laughed," Bow Wow tweeted.  A fan then tweeted a list of over 20 songs that he felt Bow Wow could playing during a battle. "What about Oh I think they like me. Where the party at remix. Destiny's Child remix. I'ma flirt. There's more...3-6 mafia side to side we past 20 right?," Bow Wow tweeted.
