It's safe to say that Michelle Obama is feeling Beyoncé's new single, "Break My Soul."
The former First Lady tweeted, "Queen @Beyonce, you’ve done it again! 'Break My Soul' is the song we all need right now, and I can't help but dance and sing along while listening to it. Can’t wait for the album!"
"Break My Soul" is Beyonce's first single for her highly anticipated seventh album Renaissance, and is the first original song since she released the Oscar-nominated track “Be Alive” last year. Renaissance is out July 29.
Beyoncé dropped "Break My Soul," the first single from her upcoming album Renaissance and it is no surprise that the song instantly became a trending topic.
Fans instantly made comparisons to Drake's latest dance LP Honestly, Nevermind since "Break My Soul" veers into the genre as well.
The track was produced by Beyoncé, The-Dream, and Christopher “Tricky” Stewart. Additionally credited co-writers include Jay-Z, Adam “BlaqNmilD” Pigott, Big Freedia, Allen George, and Fred McFarlane.
"Break My Soul" is the first original song since she released the Oscar-nominated track “Be Alive” last year. Renaissance is out July 29.
