Watch Latifah and Ludacris New Movie Trailer

End Of The Road is a Netflix movie that stars Award winning rapper and singer Queen Latifah and Ludacris, who in my opinion is one of the most underrated rappers…

Queen Latifah

Queen Latifah began her career in hip-hop when she dropped her debut album ‘All Hail the Queen’ in 1989. She later released ‘Nature of a Sista’ in 1991 which was her last record with the label. Her third album, ‘Black Reign’ (1993), which was released under Motown, became the first album by a solo female rapper to receive an RIAA certification. The album delivered the single “U.N.I.T.Y.”, which raised awareness of violence against women and the objectification of Black women’s sexuality. The song also got her her first Grammy. In her hip-hop career, the Queen released five studio albums. The Queen has transcended music: she was the star of the ABC comedy ‘Living Single’ where she played Khadijah James, the lead in the bank-robbing drama film ‘Set It Off,’ portrayed Bessie Smith in the HBO film ‘Bessie’ among many other roles. Not only being a talented rapper, her many works in film and television have also been recognized. She has been awarded an Emmy, Gold Globe, three Screen Actors Guild Awards, two NAACP Image Awards, and an Academy Award nomination. Latifah also became the first hip-hop artist to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame which she was honored with in 2006. The rapper-turned-actress currently stars as Robyn McCall in the CBS drama ‘The Equalizer.’

End Of The Road is a Netflix movie that stars Award winning rapper and singer Queen Latifah and Ludacris, who in my opinion is one of the most underrated rappers ever. The movie is based on Latifah's character Brenda. The movie is a thriller which Latifah fights to protect her family from some bad people who want what Ludacris took. Latifah and Ludacris are family members and witness a murder and Ludacris took a bag full of money. The movie turns into  a road trip from hell for Latifah and Ludacris.

Ludacris and Latifah are not romantic in the movie. The trailers says they are brother and sister. The two are staying at a New Mexico motel when all hell break loose. They become targets of mysterious killer. The trailer is packed with action scenes. This movie seems like a great movie to watch on Netflix. I don't think, I would go to the theaters to watch it but I will check it out after watching the trailer below.

The movie also stars two children as part of Latifah's family, Beau Bridges, Mychala Faith Lee. The movie also stars Shaun Dixon, and Frances Lee McCain and is directed by Millicent Shelton. The producers of the film are Tracey Edmonds, Mark Burg of Twisted Pictures, and Brad Kaplan.

If you remember the Flavor Unit back in the day, which was Latifah's business partners and "crew." Flavor Unit member Shakim Compere and Latifah are executive producers. The film will premiere on September 8th.

Shoutout to David Loughery who created the film and the original draft was written by Christopher Moore, according to collider.com. Loughery has a list of movies he has done which includes, The Intruder, Obsessed, and Fatale. If you like those movies then End Of Road is right up your ally.
