Snoop Snoop Has a Children’s Series Called ‘Doggyland – Kids Songs & Nursery Rhymes
Snoop has been a famous rapper sine 1992. His persona was of a gangster rap. The first song released was Deep Cover and the hook was “187 on a undercover cop.” Check out the video below to reminisce.
Things have changed he is much older and is a grandfather. Snoop has transformed his persona to an All American iconic entertainer. Now the rapper is entertaining children. Snoop has a new animated kids series called “Doggyland – Kids Songs & Nursery Rhymes.” You can check it out below.
This is a YouTube Series that your children can watch over and over again. Most kids will re-watch shows at least a 100 times. According to CNN.com, “Snoop Dogg partnered with Claude Brooks, the Emmy-nominated producer and creator of the children franchise ‘Hip Hop Harry’ and singer/songwriter October London on the project that features a colorful cast of dogs who use song, dance and rap to teach social, emotional and cognitive skills aimed at toddlers to 8-year-olds.”
The voice of Bow Wizzle, who is the main character, is voiced by Snoop. Bow Wizzle is the adult mentor who tries to guide the others. Wags, Yap Yap, Chow Wow and Barks-A-Locks are other characters in the series. The cast discovers new adventures every episode. These characters are dogs that will try and educate and entertain children with the use of song, dancing and rapping.
Snoop stated, “As a father, grandfather and longtime youth football coach, it’s always been important to me to build positive and educational environments for all children. We wanted to bring our show to YouTube and YouTube Kids which provides free access to everyone, so all the kids can enjoy it.”
Snoop also added, “I’ve always wanted to create a kid friendly series that lets kids be kids and is truly representative of the culture with everything from the music to the characters, “When I started to build my team, it was only right to partner with Claude, who created the iconic series, ‘Hip Hop Harry,’ which built the blueprint to diverse kids programming, and October London, a talented singer and writer.” Good to see Snoop change his persona for the children.
