Legal Sea Foods Offers $1 Clam Chowder Deal at All Massachusetts Locations
For just one day, Legal Sea Foods is cutting prices on their famous New England Clam Chowder to $1 per cup. The special happens Wednesday, January 15, at all Massachusetts locations during their annual “Chowder Day” celebration. Both eat-in and to-go orders can get this special price.
Want a bigger serving? You can get a bowl for $2. Looking to take some home? They’re offering big savings on quarts and gallons for enjoying at home. All the money made from this event goes to help Boston Children’s Hospital.
“Our New England Clam Chowder is a beloved part of Boston’s heritage,” said Matt King, Legal Sea Foods Brand President and COO.
The restaurant chain hopes to beat their best-ever day of sales, pushing past their previous record of 9,000 cups by serving 10,000 hot cups of chowder.
Legal Sea Foods has 15 spots across Massachusetts, with restaurants in Burlington, Cambridge, Dedham, Framingham, Hingham, Peabody, Somerville, and Boston. They run 25 restaurants total up and down the east coast.
This chowder is special – it’s been served at every presidential inauguration since 1981. From their home base on Boston Harbor, they keep a close eye on food quality at every location.
They serve up 40 different kinds of fresh fish and seafood throughout the year. As they always say: “If it isn’t fresh, it isn’t Legal!”
