7 Must-Watch “Back To School” Movies For Kids

Need to get your kid excited for the school year?  We might be able to help!  Have them check out one of these great school movies. (Spoiler: You’re about to experience A LOT of Zac Efron.)

This Disney Channel original movie was one of the biggest surprise hits ever, and it’s good wholesome family fun, too!

Continuing with the musical theme, not only is the story great, but the 2007 film is perhaps the first film adaptation of a musical that’s source material was a film.

Okay…we promise this is the last time you’ll see Zac Efron on this list, but everyone loves a good age regression movie!

Another surprise smash hit! You’d be an IDIOT not to like this movie.

Girls swooning! Boys jeering! Pop stars getting drafted! It might be a bit unbelievable to kids these days, but it’s the perfect time to tell them about Elvis Presley and remind them how lucky they are their favorite pop star won’t have to go through (gasp!) shaving his head.

An absolute classic AND a great soundtrack. You don’t need money or fame to realize the magic of this film.

Easy A is many things, like the moment we all fell in love with Emma Stone, but it’s perhaps the most believable depiction of the modern day high school rumor mill. This movie is definitely for older kids, but it’s surely one they’ll love.
