Truffles is a very special kitty. She was a stray cat adopted by the Crull family in 2016. By the time she was four months old, she had learned to sit and do high fives. At six months, Truffles' mom Danielle, who is a Master Optician, fitted her with some premie frames and taught her how to wear them.

Soon after, whenever a child would come into the optical shop feeling scared or insecure about trying on glasses, Danielle would bring out Truffles in her glasses, to make them more comfortable.

Truffles also allowed Danielle to put an eyepatch on her glasses to help children who are suffering from Amblyopia. This is a childhood eye condition which affects 2-3 out of every 100 children, and often requires them to wear an eyepatch for up to 6 hours a day.

As you can see, Truffles is a hard-working employee. She is voted Employee-of-the-Month every month at A Child's Eyes in Mechanicsburg, PA and is loved by not only Danielle, the other employees, but customers as well.

A very special thank you to Danielle Crull for being so kind, as to share so many great pictures of Truffles. And thank you for the care and positivity you are putting out into the world. I, and I'm sure your little customers, are grateful for you.

If you would like to keep up with Truffles, you can go to her Website, Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube.
