The main factors that were taken into account are: the cost of 4 of the cheapest tickets, lot parking, 2 16 ounce beers, 2 20 ounce sodas and 4 hot dogs. The Patriots are in the top 10 with a cost well above the NFL average. As far as the average costs for each item in the NFL: the cost of 4 tickets $438.88, lot parking $45.23, 2 16 ounce beers average is $19.11, 2 20 ounce sodas average is $10.61 and 4 hot dogs is $22.88 for a total of $536.77 on average to attend a game at an NFL stadium.
If you’re looking at just beer, the priciest beer is in Philadelphia. Eagles fans fork over nearly $15 for 16 ounces. The L.A. teams, the Rams and the Chargers, are a close second, followed by the Las Vegas Raiders, the San Francisco 49ers, the New Orleans Saints and the Jacksonville Jaguars. All those teams pay more than $11 for one beer.
On the other end, three teams are selling beers for about $6.25 apiece: The Detroit Lions, the Atlanta Falcon and the New York Jets. The Cincinnati Bengals are the only other team with beers under seven bucks.
If you take everything into account, the 49ers are the most expensive team. Going to a 49ers game in the Bay Area averages out to over $1,000 for two adults and two kids. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are the second-most expensive.
The Cardinals were the cheapest for a family of four, at just over $200. The Jaguars are the second-cheapest for a family.
