Baltimore’s Mayor Suggests Building A Boxing Ring To Settle Street Beefs
Baltimore mayor, Bernard C. “Jack” Young, is suggesting that a boxing ring be set up to settle street beefs after a teenager was recently shot to death.
“[May] the best man win, and the beef should be over. Those are some kinds of things I’m thinking about and hoping that we can get these people to put these guns down,” said Young.
Over the Memorial Day holiday, many youths were arrested and with school being out for the Summer the city is trying to find positive outlets for kids.
