Nicholas Hunt/Getty Images for NYCWFFEarlier today, we reported that Megan Thee Stallion defined exactly what a "hot girl" is, and the reason she did so is that Ayesha Curry recently went live on ABC News to explain what a "hot girl summer" is and she got it all wrong.
During the segment, Curry referenced Miami rap duo City Girls as the leaders of the "hot girl" movement, but they're not. They're currently leading the "City Girl" and "City Girl Summer" movement.
Megan Thee Stallion commented on a clip of the explanation with a female facepalm emoji. She then went to Twitter to break it down.
The real leader of the "hot girl summer" movement wasn't the only person to criticize Curry for the mishap. Many on social media made fun of Curry for her misunderstanding.
"Lawd she done crashed the boat," one Instagram user wrote, referencing Megan's phrase for drinking alcohol.
Another wrote, "She a whole grandma bruh."
