Drake’s New Tattoo Is Making Beatles Fans Very Angry
Money can’t buy you love, but it did buy Drake a new tattoo that pays tribute to The Beatles. Unfortunately, Beatles fans aren’t all that into Drizzy’s ink, which depicts him walking Abbey Road with the Fab Four.
The problem is that this tattoo depicting the iconic cover of The Beatles’ Abbey Road shows Drake walking ahead of them. It’s in reference to the fact that last year Drake beat The Beatles’ record for the most Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 hits in a single calendar year, according to Billboard. The Beatles held that record for over 50 years.
Back in June, Drake also passed The Beatles for the second-most Billboard Hot 100 top 10s, according to Billboard. Madonna holds the top spot with 38 top 10s, Drake has 35. So this arm art basically brings Drake’s rap, “I got more slaps than the Beatles” to life.

But, many Beatles fans saw it as a sign of disrespect. “The Beatles have more number 1 singles, sold more music than anybody in history, have more number 1 albums than anybody in history,” a fan wrote on Twitter. “Still sells millions each year and achieved this a without streaming! The only way he’ll beat The Beatles is in his own mind!”
Another fan tweeted that the tattoo was “egotistical,” while another wrote “narcissistic tattoo. If people remember a Drake song in 50 years we will gladly eat our words.”

obviously, everyone is allowed their own opinion. but i think the fact that drake got a tattoo of this is so egotistical. i may be biased since i like the beatles, but if anyone did this with anyone, i wouldn’t respect them for it. there are a lot better ways to celebrate this
