Bridget Lawler lives in New York City, and her parents live in Boston. She called her “very Boston” father Joseph to ask if he had any plans for April 17th.

After he said “pay tax bills?” she offered him something else. “Would you like to come watch me run the Boston Marathon? In his best Boston accent, he responded, “no frickin way!”

She had recorded the conversation to share with family members and then put it on TikTok, where she has over 500,000 views and 80,000 likes.

The best part is when he asks her “how’d you get a numba?” Well, Bridget will be running for the Boston Children’s Hospital Miles for Miracles team.
