Former president Barack Obama has once again shared his summer playlist with the world. His playlists are typically a mixture of all different genres of music. In years past, these artists have made the cut: Mitski, Mdou Moctar, Phoebe Bridgers, Bad Bunny, Wye Oak and Arooj Aftab. This year we have Kendrick Lamar, Beyonce, Joe Cocker, Aretha Franklin and more. According to Obama: "Every year, I get excited to share my summer playlist because I learn about so many new artists from your replies—it's an example of how music really can bring us all together." However, according to Pebbles, there is one glaring omission from this list. “You know I love Obama, but I am shocked, aghast, perplexed, flabbergasted, befuddled, and stupefied by one omission. How can you leave off THE summer song of the year – Lizzo’s About Damn Time? I’m disappointed in you Barack. Michelle would NEVER!” ~ Pebbles Below is the entire list of Barack Obama's summer playlist.
