We're #1! We're #1! Looks like when it comes to the most fitness-obsessed state, Massachusetts is on top. The study was done by Pricelisto, and looked at fitness terms and phrases that were searched over the last 12 months.

The most searched-for fitness-related term from Massachusetts was Planet Fitness. Planet Fitness has a total of over 14 million searches per month on average over the 50 states, and is the largest gym chain in the country.

A couple things. If you had asked me about the rankings, I would have put Massachusetts in the top 10 and even the top 5. But I hands-down would have said California. Having gone there several times and spending a summer there, they seem pretty fitness-obsessed to me. The other thing is that this is based on searches. I've spent a lot of time searching fitness-related words and phrases...from my couch. Lol Not saying that we don't deserve to be #1, but not sure I'm totally on-board with the analysis.

You can decide for yourself. Check out the top ten.
