This New England Casino Voted The #1 Casino Hotel In The United States

Let’s start with the basics. What is a casino hotel. Simply put, it’s a hotel and casino in one location with lots of other options as well. We’re talking about entertainment, restaurants, spas, shopping, and more. And some casino hotels do it better than others. USA Today conducted their reader’s poll, and came up with the 10 Best Casino Hotels in the Country. The #1 casino hotel in the country is right here in New England.

How do you choose the best casino hotel for your needs? Some of the factors to take into consideration: location in case you want to leave your hotel to explore, room amenities (wifi, room service, comfortable beds, etc.), gaming options (variety of slots and table games), dining options (very important!), and reviews.

There are many casino hotels in New England. Foxwoods Resort & Casino is a popular casino in Mashantucket, CT. It has 9 million square feet, making it the largest casino resort in North America, and the fifth largest in the world. As far as the hotel, it has over a whopping 2,200 rooms. The first casino resort in Massachusetts is MGM Springfield which opened its doors in 2018. They have a lot less hotel rooms with 240, but they make up for that with the 2 million square feet of space that takes up 14 acres in three downtown city blocks. And another hugely popular casino hotel is Encore Boston Harbor in Everett. The $2.6 billion dollar resort casino opened in 2019. They have 671 rooms and suites over 27 floors.

You can also check out ocean views through floor-to-ceiling windows in your luxurious room or suite. They have multiple dining and bar options, entertainment, and more.

  • #3: Beau Rivage Resort & Casino - Biloxi, Mississippi

    The Beau Rivage features 1,740 rooms with sweeping views of the city and the ocean. They offer elegant dining, entertainment, of course a casino, and a relaxing spa, all in a Mediterranean setting.

  • #4: Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City - Atlantic City, New Jersey

    The Hard Rock in Atlantic City is set on 17-acres with the legendary Atlantic City Boardwalk as its backdrop. They have world-class entertainment, great nightlife, a lounge, and a 400-seat Hard Rock Café.

  • #10: Bellagio Las Vegas - Las Vegas, Nevada

    The Bellagio is a beautiful casino hotel that I’ve stayed at a few times. It’s famous for its dancing fountains and has over 3,000 guest rooms and over 500 suites. It also has five outdoor pools, an enormous fitness center, four whirlpools, a Zen-inspired spa, as well as shopping, dining, and entertainment. It also has an incredible glass sculpture that hangs from the ceiling called “Fiori di Como” designed by Chihuly.
