Rape Case Against Mystikal Back in Court
Mystikal was back in court on Tuesday in Shreveport, Louisiana on first-degree rape and second-degree kidnapping charges.
Mystikal’s lawyer, Joel Pearce, argued and got testimony from witnesses who appeared in front of a grand jury for the case. “I don’t think that anyone should be made to stand trial for number one, something they did not do.
And number two, something that’s caught up in this political movement, the me too movement. Michael [Mystikal’s real name] is not guilty of anything,” Pearce said.
Another hearing over social media records will be held on March 6th and Mystikal trial will be held on May 20th. He’s currently being held in the Caddo Parish Correctional Center on $3 million bond.
