Don Lemon & Trevor Noah Break Down ‘The Worst Black History Month Ever’
It has been a running joke on social media that this past February was the worst Black History Month ever.
So many things happened, the Virginia governor blackface controversy, Jussie Smollet, R. Kelly, Gucci controversy, etc. Don Lemon said that Black History is not in our past. Don Lemon, who grew up in the South, said that racist acts are not just a southern thing.
Maryland delegate Mary Ann Lisanti, who has been stripped of her leadership over use of the n-word, said, I’m sure everyone has used it. I’ve used the f-word, I’ve used the Lord’s name in vain.
Don Lemon ended his show by saying, Black History is not just a part of our past, it is very alive in America today.
