Phaedra Parks’ Ex-Husband, Apollo Nida, Released From Prison
Former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks’ ex-husband, Apollo Nida has been released from prison, after five years.
Nida was released over the weekend and transferred to a halfway house.
Nida, who had a short run as a reality TV star on RHOA went to prison for fraud and identity theft, serving five years.
In 2020 is when Nida was originally scheduled to be released, but a judge shortened his sentence by a year.
Once Nida was released from New Jersey’s Federal Correctional Institution, Fort Dix, he was relocated to a halfway house in Philadelphia where he’s supposed to remain until October, according to BravoTV.com.
On Sunday (June 2), Nida was spotted near the halfway house with his fiancée, Sherien Almufti, who he’s been reportedly engaged to three years.
Nida and Parks married in 2009, but the couple’s marriage fell apart amid Nida’s trouble with the law, which was shown on RHOA.
Their divorce was finalized in 2017. The two share two sons, Ayden, 9, and Dylan, 6.
