Shemar Moore Shares Emotional Post About His Mother’s Death: ‘It’s Not a Joke. I’m Hurting Real Bad’
On Wednesday (Feb. 19), actor Shemar Moore took to Instagram to share an emotional post regarding his mother’s death. “This is real life. Your baby boy is okay, but I’m hurting real bad,” Moore said in the series of videos he posted.
“It’s not a game. It’s not a joke. I’m hurting real bad. I’ve been offline for some weeks, now. I”ve had to keep a secret out of respect.”
“Ten days ago on February 8, 2020, my mother, Marylin Joan Wilson-Moore passed away. Trust me. I know,” Moore continued before breaking down with tears.
“My partner in crime, Shemar’s mother. She’s gone.” “I stay stunned. I am heartbroken,” the actor continued before explaining that everything he’s worked for is “because of this amazing woman.”
During the recording that was composed of 10 videos, Moore held up two different framed photographs of his mother. One was of his mother by herself and the other picture was of a young Moore with his mom.
“Marylin Joan Wilson-Moore, my mother, best friend, and partner in crime passed away Feb 8th at 76 years old… I miss her more than I ever thought possible and I don’t know how to do this life without her …. but I get my STRENGTH from her and I will be OK because of HER. Mama…. here come that man!!!!!” Moore wrote in the caption of his post.
“What I do from this day forward is for YOU!!!! I’m going to continue to LEAP and pray that the NET appears!! It was too soon …. and it hurts so bad…. but I know you are with me and will continue to give me strength… I love you, mama.”
