Young MA Says ‘Music Doesn’t Feel The Same Because We Barely Have R&B’
Rapper Young MA recently said that “music doesn’t feel the same,” anymore. The Brooklyn rapper took to Twitter to express her feelings regarding today’s music.
“Music don’t feel the same because we barely have R&B, …R&B brung that balance to music,” Young MA tweeted on Monday (Feb. 24).
“Now everything is leanin one-way smh so it gets played out quick! We need R&B for the balance no kap!”

Tank chimed in and commented on the subject on The Shade Room‘s re-post of Young MA’s tweet. “Tell mainstream radio to play some real r&b music,” Tank commented. “Tell the labels to start really investing in r&b music. When artist like H.E.R., Daniel Caesar, and etc drop dope music please go buy it!.. Problem solved. You’re welcome.”
“Say that [expletive] then,” Tiny Harris also commented on the post, alluding that she agrees with Young Ma. Tamar Braxton and DVSN also chimed in. Braxton simply replied with a smirk emoji and a crystal ball, while DVSN said, “Well, we’re putting the finishing touches on the album to fix all that … we’ll check back In.”
