New “Boston Strong” Shirt’s Proceeds Will Go To Feeding Healthcare Workers! (PIC & INFO)
I love this! Local visual merchandiser Molly Snyder created this healthcare-themed “Boston Strong” shirt and she’s donating the proceeds to “Fuel the Fight Boston,” which buys food from local restaurants to feed healthcare workers!
How awesome is this (I love the “stay home” hashtag too)! According to CBS 4 Boston, Molly’s mom works at Carney Hospital in Boston and came up with the idea for her daughter to make a medical-themed “Boston Strong” logo.
Molly says it only took her 20 minutes to create it! She then teamed up with Rockland Athletic Supplies to get the shirts made.
Molly told CBS 4 Boston, that she’s raised more than $5,000 and is on track to raise $7,000 and will be donating that money to “Fuel the Fight Boston.”
The “Fuel the Fight Boston” GoFundMe page is taking donations and “100% of the money will be used to buy food from local restaurants who are reeling from the coronavirus while feeding our healthcare workers on the front-lines battling this pandemic.”
What a positive chain-of-reaction this is, that allows people to show support to healthcare workers by wearing a t-shirt that was made by a local business and the proceeds will be donated to supply hospital workers with food from local restaurants who could use the business!
Molly’s “Boston Strong” healthcare-themed t-shirt costs $30 and you can contact her via Facebook (see the post below) if you want to order one of these amazing shirts!
I know that her post says that the deadline was April 13th, but I’m sure that if you contact Molly, she can let you know if she will be taking additional orders or not.
