Dover, New Hampshire Native Jessica Parratto Goes for Gold in Second Olympics
Updated July 27th: Congratulations to Jessica Parratto! She and Delaney Schnell took the silver medal in the women’s 10-meter synchronized platform diving at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. This is the first medal for Team USA in the 10-meter synchronized platform diving event.
Local athlete Jessica Parratto, who hails from Dover, New Hampshire is in Tokyo to participate in her second Olympics. Parratto will compete with the diving team, more specifically in the 10-meter synchronized event. Participating in various competitions since 2007, she’s a well decorated athlete in both individual and synchronized diving, including NCAA titles and will be competing alongside 20-year-old Delaney Schnell from Arizona. The duo finished first in the US Olympic Trials this year by a wide margin, earning Parratto a spot in her second Olympic Games.
The pair will try to win Gold on Tuesday, July 27th at 2am Eastern Time.
