Doja Cat Wants To Be More Selective With Who She Collabs With Next
Doja Cat says that too many collaborations on an album could be a bad thing… even though she appreciates all of the artists that featured on her latest project Plant Her.
During a chat with EXTRA, former Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay asked the singer-rapper about her dream collabs and the artist revealed that she is planning on being more careful with who she aligns with.
“I have been trying to be more careful about who I’m collaborating with,” she said per HotNewHipHop. “Not to say that the people on my album are—they’re incredible. They are the perfect features, but I do want to be more choosy about what I’m doing because I feel like a lot of features are coming out and it feels like people are just getting on each other’s songs for the sake of having them on each other’s songs.”
“I want to be really careful about that. Sometimes it’s too much collabs and remixes and things like that.”
Doja recently partnered up with Young Thug, Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, SZA, and JID on her latest project.
