Dark Knight Trilogy Returns to Theaters in MA, RI
The Dark Knight Trilogy is making a return to the big screen, but for only one day. Let’s see where you can see the three.
This isn’t just some random re-release, by the way. This is in anticipation of Batman Day. Yes, Batman Day is a thing. Just like National Beer Day is a thing. And National Pizza Party Day is a thing. Every day seems to have some “Day” or another. There’s even a calendar you can buy to keep track of all the National “Days.” I know this because I just saw one in a classroom on back to school night.
But back to the Dark Knight. Batman Day 2023 is being celebrated on September 16. This is a new development. In previous years, the day that fans celebrate the alter ego of Bruce Wayne has fallen in June. But this year, the powers that be pointed out that September 16, 1939 was the superhero’s first appearance in Detective Comics. So September 16 is now Batman Day. At least for this year.
