Bobbi Althoff Allegedly Kicked Out Of Drake’s Party
Bobbi Althoff and Drake’s alleged beef has a new update. Althoff was reportedly removed from Drake’s SXSW party after the podcaster allegedly showed up uninvited.
“I have no idea how she got in because she was not invited by organizers or hosts of the event,” a source present at the party told The Daily Mail. “If you look up the past history between her and Drake, it’s easy to see why she wasn’t invited – and why she was removed as soon as possible.”
Where do Drake and Bobbi Althoff Stand Now?
Althoff skyrocketed into fame after her interview with Drake went viral. The video was taken down, and the two unfollowed one another from social media which stirred up some beef between the rapper and the podcaster. Althoff spoke about where she stands with Drake when she was a guest on Keke Palmer’s podcast Baby, It’s Keke Palmer, published back in January. Althoff said she spoke to the rapper a few weeks ago but is lost on why they don’t follow each other anymore.
“I guess we’ll never know,” she said, before adding: “He’s a very nice person and he definitely clearly changed the trajectory of my whole career.”
What also stirred more controversy between Althoff and Drake was that the podcast host and her husband, Cory Althoff of four years, decided to split after rumors swirled she slept with the rapper. However, she quickly shut those rumors down.
In a private DM convo with Barstool Sports CEO Dave Portnoy, Althoff responded to whether or not she had a romantic relationship with the rapper.
“My girlfriend says you hooked up with Drake and got divorced. I am saying that is not true,” Portnoy asked in a message per HipHopDX.
Althoff replied: “I am not commenting publicly but off the record, you’re right that is not true.”
Althoff started her podcast in April 2023, and she spoke to Cosmopolitan about how she was able to secure the coveted Drake interview.
“I decided to just go for it and shoot my shot. I DMed Drake and asked if he wanted to be on my podcast, and he said yes,” Althoff said. “He sent me his touring schedule, and I knew that I needed to make it happen fast, so my friend and I flew to Memphis two days after the original DM was sent to record the episode.”
