March Madness Returns to Providence in 2025. Here’s How to Score Tickets
The biggest college basketball event of the year — the Men’s NCAA tournament, also known as March Madness — is coming to Providence, Rhode Island, for 2025. According to a Providence Journal report, this March will mark the first time in nine years and the 12th time overall that Providence has hosted the tournament.
The NCAA tournament will feature the best 68 teams in college basketball competing in a single-elimination format to win the national championship across seven rounds of matchups. This month, teams playing in select games in the first and second rounds will appear at Amica Mutual Pavilion in Providence on Thursday, March 20, and Saturday, March 22. The entire March Madness tournament runs from March 18 to April 7.
Providence will host eight teams from the NCAA East division of the college basketball bracket. These matchups were announced on Sunday, March 16, also known as Selection Sunday. More information can be found on the NCAA’s website.
How to Get Tickets to Witness March Madness 2025 in Providence
Although general session tickets for all Providence March Madness games are already sold out, verified resale tickets are available through Ticketmaster, with prices starting at $150. On Location is offering specialty tickets that include gift boxes and merchandise.
For those unable to attend in person, the games will be broadcast live on CBS, TBS, TNT, and truTV, and will be streamed on NCAA March Madness Live.
