Rhode Island Seafood Festival Is One of the Best in the Country, Says USA Today
If you love seafood, you’ll love a Rhode Island festival that has earned its place in the rankings for one of the best food festivals in the country.
USA TODAY 10BEST Readers’ Choice Awards released its specialty food festival award winners and named the Rhode Island Seafood Festival in Providence No. 10 in its top 10 listings.
This beloved annual festival has been celebrated every fall since 2011. It highlights the freshest seafood from the Atlantic Ocean in partnership with local restaurants. Visitors to the festival can discover classic New England seafood dishes, including lobster rolls, clam chowder, and clam cakes, plus non-seafood dishes, drinks, and desserts.
Along with the seafood, USA TODAY editors note the food competitions and live music performances that entertain crowds throughout the weekend.
