Boston Globe Names Top 50 New England Growth Companies: Travel Company Takes Lead
Old Sod Travel sits at the top of The Boston Globe and Statista’s first yearly list, after seeing its revenue shoot up by 2,200% from 2020 to 2023.
With customer demand going through the roof, the Irish travel specialist opened up shop in Dublin. Cloud Bridge Solutions grabbed second place with sales jumping 1,600%, while Ardent Fitness powered its way to third with 1,300% growth.
After landing spot 262 on Inc. 5000’s coveted list, Cloud Bridge Solutions kept up its momentum with a confirmed 1,593% revenue growth over three years.
“Growth often involves finding opportunities in challenging times,” said Michael Goodman to The Boston Globe.
Tech companies, construction businesses, and medical pioneers filled up much of the list. While Symbotic shook up supply chains with AI breakthroughs, Digital Onboarding gave banking systems a makeover.
Little Leaf Farms used cutting-edge greenhouse tech to grow 50% year after year. Their success shows more consumers want locally grown food.
In medicine, Lantheus saw its income grow four times over by rolling out game-changing imaging tech. This matches the bigger boom happening in New England’s biotech world.
Financial firms F.L.Putnam Investment Management and Centreville Bank grew quickly by upgrading their systems and improving customer service. Their success shows how banking is racing to embrace new tech.

Many success stories came from adapting after Covid. The rankings show how companies made the most of market shifts while tapping into local know-how.
