The trailer for Mother! was just released, and from the director of ‘Black Swan’ and ‘Requiem for a Dream,’ we can’t say we’re shocked that it’s twisted and dark.
And, if things can’t get even more creepy, Jennifer Lawrence plays alongside Javier Bardem, Ed Harris, and Michelle Pfeiffer.
The walls are covered in blood, they are descended on by something that looks like a paranormal herd, possessed with some sort of evil, and when Michelle Pfeiffer says something like “God help you,” you know you’re pretty screwed.
We’re not entirely sure who “Mother” is, but whoever she is, she can’t be kind, and this definitely won’t be a comedic meeting like How I Met Your Mother.
Also, I’m going to be afraid of people knocking on doors for quite some time after watching this film.
