Nicki Minaj DMs Doja Cat A Sweet Message For Grammy Win

Nicki Minaj reached out to “Say So” collaborator Doja Cat after her big win on Sunday night (April 3).

“Congratulations on your Grammy mama. You really really really really really really really f—— deserve it [pink bow emoji],” The Pink Friday creator wrote per a screenshot from The Shade Room.

The “Kiss Me More” singer “hearted” the message but we are unsure if Doja gave more of a response. And it looks like the Los Angeles native already has the “Barbie Tingz” rapper on her radar once again. “Who do I wanna work with? Well, everybody knows it’s Nicki, it’s all the time,” she said to Entertainment Tonight on Sunday. “It’s Nicki.”

The two previously worked together on their Billboard No. 1 hit “Say So” remix back in 2020. Listen to the song below:

"Pound the Alarm" music video is shot in Nicki's hometown in Trinidad and Tobago at the Queens Park Savannah in Port Of Spain. The video was directed by Benny Boom, who previously filmed the singer's "Beez In The Trap" and "Right By My Side" clips. Since the song's debut, it has reached certified platinum status.

In the video, you see Nicki and 2 Chainz in the strip club where the rapper said it was an ode to her fans that worked the club. She told MTV at the time, "When I was doing my mixtapes, I would perform in strip clubs. I would perform in clubs and it was just like some of my most die-hard fans would be in these places," she said. "I wanted to kinda honor all my girls in the club and just say thank you for the support."
