LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - JUNE 23: Lil Baby poses for a portrait during the BET Awards 2019 at Microsoft Theater on June 23, 2019 in Los Angeles, California.

Lil Baby has dropped his highly anticipated third album It’s Only Me, which features appearances from Young Thug, Future, Nardo Wick, Pooh Shiesty, EST Gee, Jeremih, Rylo Rodriguez, and Fridayy.

The album serves as the official follow-up to 2020’s four-times platinum My Turn. The Atlanta native made the official announcement that an LP was coming to his fans way back in September. “I Kno Its Been Along Time Coming But I’m Coming Harder And Harder,” he captioned an Instagram post revealing the cover art. He announced the album shortly after he dropped “Detox.”

Lil Baby kept his fans entertained with multiple singles over the summer including dropping, “Right On,” “Frozen,” and “In a Minute.” The rapper also collaborated with DJ Khaled and Drake on “Staying Alive.” “Staying Alive” marked Baby and Drake’s fifth collaboration following, “Yes Indeed,” “Never Recover,” “Wants and Needs” and “Girls Want Girls.”

When Baby announced the tracklist for It’s Only Me he followed up by dropping “Heyy,” which is the album’s fourth track.

In the rapper’s personal life, Saweetie addressed her post-break-up with Quavo on Yung Miami’s Caresha Please, it was rumored that Lil Baby “dropped a bag on [her] in the Chanel store.” Saweetie has yet to reveal if that is actually true.

Baby’s name was brought up again when Quavo and Takeoff dropped their debut album Only Built for Infinity Links under the monikers “Unc & Phew.” In the new song titled “Messy,” fans speculated that Quavo was referring to either estranged Migos member Offset or Lil Baby.

“Bitch f—ed my dawg behind my back, but I ain’t stressin’ (Not at all)/You wanted the gang, you shoulda just said it, we would have blessed it (You shoulda just said it)/Now s— got messy (Uh),” Quavo continues to spit as social media began pointing fingers at Baby and Set.

Fans suggest that Lil Baby might have been referring to Quavo’s comment in the song “Stand On It.”

Baby raps, “I don’t want your bitch, we can’t swap out.” Fans believe he is alluding to an Instagram Story Quavo posted shortly after Saweetie was spotted with Baby back in November.
