When it comes to multi-millionaires, some colleges produce more of them than others. According to a new study from Henley & Partners, about 35% of the wealthiest people in the United States attend one of eight elite universities.
In the U.S., there are about 9,600 centimillionaires living in the country. Centimillionaires are people whose net worth is over $100 million dollars. About 1 in 4 work in finance or professional services, and another 1 in 7 earned their money through tech.
Graduates of Ivy League colleges earn more than other college grads a decade after entering the workforce, taking in about $125,000 a year versus $82,000 for other bachelor’s degree holders.
