One of the best things about these ridiculously high lottery jackpots, is dreaming about what you would do if you win. I don’t know about you, but I could sit for hours thinking about it. Being debt free, buying my dream house, planning my dream vacations, and donating to favorite causes and people.  And sure, making some obscenely extravagant purchases. I have a friend that says that he would buy a blimp with a swing on it that he could ride on. Probably one of the most ridiculous things I’ve heard. But these are the things we think about when there are hundreds of millions of dollars up for grabs.

Past lottery winners

Previous big lottery winners have made some pretty lavish purchases. Some from Business Insider:

John Kutey won $319 million dollars in Mega Millions back in 2011. After he got his share of $28.7 million, he and his wife Linda decided to donate a portion of the winnings to building a water park in honor of their parents. Love that! They donated $200,000 to construct Spray Park in Green Island, New York.

Jonathan Vargas was 19-years-old when he won a $35.3 million Powerball jackpot in 2008. What did he do? He created Wrestlicious, a women’s wrestling promotion. “Wrestlicious TakeDown” only lasted one season and showed scantily-clad women performing sketch comedy. I bet he regrets that decision!

What’s up for grabs if you win the lottery

If you’re looking to do some dreaming about lottery winnings, we are definitely here for that. Just so you know how much you should be dreaming about, there was no Mega Millions winner last night. The next jackpot is worth an estimated $720 million dollars. That drawing is on Friday. Meanwhile, Powerball is now an estimated $1 BILLION dollars. Wishing you all the best of luck, and hope you get some ideas on what you can buy,.

    Bartesian Premium Cocktail Maker

Ok, so this isn’t super ridiculous, but it’s also something I wouldn’t spend almost $400 on. It’s like a Keurig, but for cocktails. After a big lottery win, you could get one for all your friends!
