Jeezy Responds To Jeannie Mai Cheating Claims
Jeezy has responded to Jeannie Mai’s claim that he cheated on her during their marriage. Back in September, Jeezy filed for divorce from Jeannie Mai after two years of marriage. The former couple shares a one-year-old daughter named Monaco.
According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Mai’s lawyer writes, “Wife reserves the right to amend this counterclaim to add other grounds for divorce, but which Wife does not wish to specify herein at this time in the hope this matter can be resolved without having to disclose such conduct publicly.”
“Wife further shows that the Court should enforce Paragraph 8 of the Prenuptial Agreement regarding infidelity which provides, in pertinent part, that in the event that either party engages in sexual relations, an emotional relationship, or is emotionally or sexually suggestive in communication with a third party via all forms of electronic communications, including but not limited to texting, sexting, Facetiming, social media and/or Direct Messages, shall result in a significant financial penalty upon the adulterous party …” the statement states.
Jeezy’s childhood friend Clem also backed up Mai’s claims saying that he even knew the woman he was allegedly with.
“Jeezy, you not a real n—-. You know why? Because your wife just came out and said you cheated on her. And I believe her because I know you,” he said. “And I can probably pick on who you cheated on her with because there’s a few bitches I know you still stay in contact with. I know ’cause they told me, I talk to ’em.:
“You the same n—-. And I know this n—-. This n—- ain’t never been loyal to s—,” Clem continued. “He wasn’t even loyal to a dog he got. He gave that dog away, like, two weeks to a bitch. He’s not loyal!”

However, a source close to Jeezy per TMZ is refuting Mai’s claim saying that is “absolutely false” and that they both had tried to save their marriage through therapists and marriage counting. He noted that there were “clear signs of their uncoupling were long established and manifesting right before their eyes.”
Additionally, a spokesperson for the rapper said: “Any claim of infidelity on Mr. Jenkins’ behalf are 100 percent false and we have no further statements at this time.”
According to the couple’s infidelity clause per HipHopDX, claims that it “provides…that in the event that either party engages in sexual relations, an emotional relationship, or is emotionally or sexually suggestive in communication with a third party via all forms of electronic communications, including but not limited to texting, sexting, Facetiming, social media and/or Direct Messages, shall result in a significant financial penalty upon the adulterous party.”
Jeezy Files For Divorce From Jeannie Mai
After the September filing, Mai claims that she learned of the filing from headlines online.
“At the time, when I found out at the same time as the rest of the world that my marriage was ending in divorce, I was gutted. Today, it’s about picking up the pieces,” Mai shared with Jennifer Hudson on her eponymous show.
After Jeezy filed for divorce, he wrote on Instagram how he and his family will move forward from this.
“The decision to end this chapter in my life was not made impulsively and comes with a heavy heart. Despite this, my love and respect for Jeannie remains and the time we spent together holds a cherished place in my heart.”
He continued: “Our beautiful daughter is the best gift from our relationship, and I am committed to assuring she feels the love and stability she deserves. During this period, I kindly request that you respect our family’s privacy as we focus on healing.”
