Diddy Sued By Male Record Producer For Sexual Assault
Sean “Diddy” Combs is being sued by a male record producer for allegedly sexually assaulting him. Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, a former producer and videographer for the rap mogul is accusing Diddy of sexually harassing, drugging, and threatening him, according to People. The alleged abuse lasted for more than a year. The producer is seeking $30 million in damages.
In addition to Diddy, Combs’ son Justin, chief of staff, Kristina Khorram; Universal Music Group CEO Sir Lucian Grainge; and former Motown Records CEO Ethiopia Habtemariam have also been named as defendants according to legal documents obtained by the publication.
Lil Rod worked with Diddy on his Grammy-nominated Love album and claims that he “witnessed, experienced, and endured many things that went far beyond his role as a producer on the Love album.” The album was released last year and the producer worked with Diddy from September 2022- November 2023. He also vacationed with the rap mogul outside of the country and lived with him in multiple cities around the nation during the project.
The lawsuit states that while they were living together Lil Rod “was the victim of constant unsolicited and unauthorized groping and touching of his anus by Mr. Combs.”
The producer told Khorram of the abuse he faced but she allegedly shrugged off the allegations of “groping of Mr. Jones anus and genitals as friendly horseplay.”
According to the legal documents, Diddy behaved in a way that made Lil Rod uncomfortable such as “walking around naked and showering in a clear glass enclosure.”
In his role as a videographer, Lil Rod constantly taped the process of the making of the album but according to legal documents he also “secured HUNDREDS of hours of footage and audio recordings of Mr. Combs, his staff, and his guests engaging in serious illegal activity.”
In two other alleged incidents, Lil Rod claims that Yung Miami’s female cousin, sexually assaulted him on Thanksgiving Day in 2022. Diddy was dating the City Girl rapper at the time. The producer also claims that in another alleged incident that he was drugged and “possibly raped” in the Diddy’s Miami home by prostitues.
Diddy and Justin Combs’ Lawyers Respond To Allegations
“Lil Rod is nothing more than a liar who filed a $30 million lawsuit shamelessly looking for an undeserved payday,” Diddy’s lawyer, Shawn Holley, said in a statement. “His reckless name-dropping about events that are pure fiction and simply did not happen is nothing more than a transparent attempt to garner headlines. We have overwhelming, indisputable proof that his claims are complete lies. Our attempts to share this proof with Mr. Jones’ attorney, Tyrone Blackburn, have been ignored, as Mr. Blackburn refuses to return our calls. We will address these outlandish allegations in court and take all appropriate action against those who make them.”
“Justin Combs categorically denies these absurd allegations,” a rep for Justin told TMZ. “They are all lies! This is a a clear example of a desperate person taking desperate measures in hopes of a pay day. There will be legal consequences for ALL defamatory statements made about the Combs family.”
