Contest Rules

WBQT “BOSTON CALLING TICKETS” CODE WORD CONTEST RULES   These rules apply to the “Mary J. Blige Tickets” contest (“Contest”) conducted by Beasley Media Group, LLC d/b/a WBQT-FM (“Station”). In addition, the General Contest Rules posted at www.hot969boston.com apply to this Contest. If there is a conflict between the General Contest Rules and the Rules for this Contest, the Rules for this Contest shall control.  

1. HOW TO ENTER

2025. The Contest will begin on March 31, 2025 and end on April 4, 2025.

1. To enter, listen to the Station beginning on, Monday, March 31, 2025 and ending on Friday, April 4, 2025, between the hours of 8:05am Eastern Time (“ET”) and 5:05pm ET for the announcement of the unique Code Word (“Keyword”). Each day’s announcement will have a unique Keyword. Up to five (5) Keywords will be announced each day. Once an entrant hears the Keyword, entrant may enter via the following method:

1. Visit hot969boston.com and follow the links and instructions to enter the Contest and complete and submit the online entry form. Online entrants are subject to all notices posted online including but not limited to the Station's Privacy Policy. Entries submitted may not be acknowledged or returned. Proof of submission of an entry shall not be deemed proof of receipt by the Contest administrator.

1. Limit one (1) entry per eligible person per Keyword regardless of if entrant has more than one email address. Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same email address. Entrants are not permitted to use multiple email addresses. Each entry window shall close at the start of the twentieth (20^th) minute after the Keyword is announced (each an “Entry Period”). Any online entries received after the entry deadline or any online entries with the incorrect Keyword will be disqualified.

1. There will be up to a total of five (5) Prize winners selected in the Contest.

2. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS

1. This Contest is open to all Station listeners who are 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry into the Contest, who are legal US residents and reside in Massachusetts, New Hampshire or Rhode Island, except where prohibited by law. Winners must possess a valid, government-issued ID and show proof of residency to verify eligibility.

3. PRIZES

352. Up to five (5) Prizes will be awarded, consisting of two (2) tickets to the Boston Calling Music Festival event on Friday, May 23, 2025, at Harvard Athletic Complex in Boston, MA. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of each Qualifying Prize is $352. The winner(s) will be solely responsible for all taxes and all other fees and expenses not specified herein associated with the receipt and use of the prize(s). The prize(s) is awarded as is. Tickets valid only on the date(s) printed on the tickets. Tickets are not refundable or transferable and may not be substituted or exchanged for cash or credit at any time, nor will tickets be replaced if lost or stolen. Tickets may not be sold to a third party. If a prize-related event is unable to take place as scheduled, for reasons such as cancellation, preemption, postponement or unavailability, including for weather, or for any reason beyond control of the Station and/or prize provider, their sole responsibility to the winner(s) will be to award the remaining available elements of the prize(s) and no substitution or compensation will be provided for the unawarded element(s) of the prize(s). The Station and/or venue, in their sole discretion, reserve the right to deny entry to or to remove the winner(s) and/or guest(s) if either engages in disruptive behavior or in a manner with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person at the prize-related event. Prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash. No extension will be given and cannot be replaced if destroyed, lost or stolen. If the prize is not redeemed, the prize is void.

1. Prize must be claimed at the office of the Station located at 1075 Main Street, Waltham, MA 02451 Monday-Friday, during regular business hours. Prize must be claimed within two (2) days of winning. Failure to claim Prize by the specified time will result in forfeiture of the prize. It is the winner’s sole responsibility to claim the Prize or prize certificate within the timeline provided in these Official Rules.

4. SELECTION OF WINNERS

1. Up to five (5) Prize winners will be selected at approximately 10:00am ET daily Monday, March 31, 2025, through Friday, April 4, 2025, will be selected in a Station-conducted random drawing from the combined online entrants who entered the correct Keywords during the Entry Periods. Potential Prize winner(s) will be notified by phone promptly following the random drawing. Non-selected entries will not roll over into other day’s subsequent random drawings, if any.

1. Odds of winning the Prize depend on the number of eligible online entries received for each random drawing.

1. Grand Prize winner must confirm acceptance of prize within one (1) hour of winning, or risk disqualification and selection of an alternate Grand Prize winner (time permitting) in a random drawing of all remaining entrants.

1. Decisions of Station management with respect to the Contest are final.

5. CONDITIONS

1. The Station reserves the right to end any contest or amend these rules upon announcement on air and by publication at hot969boston.com.

1. For website contests: By use of the Station’s website and by entering this Contest, entrants agree to the Station’s Terms of Service Agreement and to the use of Personal Information as stated in the Privacy Policy located at hot969boston.com.

1. Copies of the written Contest rules and a list of all winners are available during regular business hours at the main studio of the Station, 1075 Main Street., Waltham, MA 02451, or by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the Station.
