Liza Jessie Peterson. Liza is an actress, poet, playwright, educator and activist. She’s been an advocate of incarcerated people for over two decades and her book All Day is about the time she spent teaching incarcerated youth at Rikers Island. She’s written several plays, including her one woman show The Peculiar Patriot which is coming to the Emerson Paramount Center on October 17th – 28th.
