We need a spa day! I mean, who doesn’t every now and then, right? So, why not treat yourself to a little R&R via an at-home spa treatment. Consider this list of Must Have skincare products as a guide for an at-home facial routine. Because let’s face it, it’s sometimes easier to have the products on hand than it is to make an appointment, drive to the spa, get the facial treatment, and drive home. And we’ve made sure to cover our bases, so whether you have dry, oily, or combination skin, you’re bound to find a product that is made to help you get the best, most relaxing, and reward at-home facial.

  • No7 Radiant Results Nourishing Melting Gel Cleanser

If you’re going to have a spa-day, you need to start it off the right way. And that’s with a double cleanse. The first part of your cleanse should be using an oil-based cleanser. The second part of your cleanse should be with a gel or foaming cleanser, depending on your skin type. If you have sensitive skin a gel, like this one, is going to be a lot less harsh on you. This gel cleanser from No.7 is a light milky-like cleanser that will help hydrate your face while clearing away any access makeup. If you’re not into the whole “double-cleanse” ritual, this one will work well for just a regular cleanse.

  • Tula Keep It Clear Acne Foam Cleanser

If one of your biggest skin concerns is acne, then I present to you one of my favorite products on the market. This acne foam cleanser from Tula is incredible and really strong. It helps fights any breakouts I have and I’m really happy with the results. This is a strong formula though so when we get to the hydrating steps don’t skimp on them. Your skin will thank you for giving it some moisture back.

  • Alleyoop Clean Slate All-In-One Cleansing Stick

For those of us who are just looking for some easy, here’s a great alternative for you. This cleansing stick from Alleyoop knocks out three essential steps in a single swipe. It gently and effectively removes makeup, deep cleanses dirt and buildup, and moisturizes skin.

  • Alleyoop Double-Sided Cleansing Mitt

Did you think we skip out on some cool tools? This is just one of the many ways you can help cleanse your face. While some people are okay using their fingers to massage the product in their face, some don’t want to put the product from fingers to skin. These cleansing mitts can help with that. On one side, a micro-fiber cloth helps you gently clear your skin with easy light touches, while the other side is an exfoliating cloth to help you get a bit deeper into the skin. For my acne-prone friends, this can help you get into the pores better.

  • Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting Acid Exfoliant

After you’ve cleansed, the usual next step in an at-home facial routine is to exfoliate. Exfoliating can feel like an odd step after a double cleanse, but in most cases, this is really going to step in where the cleansers couldn’t. Those dead skin cells that may be lying underneath the surface can now be tackled with an exfoliator.

This exfoliator from Paula’s Choice has salicylic acid which helps unclog your pores, reduce oils, and overall help you achieve a clean slate on your face. Which is a must before you move into hydrating.

  • No7 Radiance+ Daily Energizing Exfoliating Cleanser

Perhaps the cleanser above isn’t the right fit for you. That’s okay! Not all skin types are the same, which means not every product is going to be right for everyone. For something that feels a bit more like a daily use item and has amazing Vitamin C enriched ingredients, go with this Radiance+ Daily Energizing Exfoliating Cleanser. It’s designed with a mix of natural apricot seed, fruit extracts and skin-brightening Vitamin C to help refine pores and visibly improve the look of skin tone and texture in just one step.

  • Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit 100% Hydrogel Acne Sheet Face Mask

Now, if you’re following along for an at-home facial routine, your next step is to mask up! Utilizing a mask can be very beneficial for starting your hydration stages. If you’re prone to acne, you’re going to want to go with a face mask that has Vitamin C. I’ve always loved these Neutrogena face masks. They’re very easy to use and have left my face feeling great.

  • Protect & Perfect Intense Advanced Serum Boost Sheet Mask

If you tend to have dry skin, you’ll want to grab a face mask that is specifically designed for hydration and includes hyaluronic acid in the serum like this one from No7. This mask will help reduce any fine lines and wrinkles while also helping promote smoother more radiant-looking skin.

  • Lift & Luminate Triple Action Serum Boost Sheet Mask

Maybe you’re like me and you fall into the category of my skin is usually pretty good, not too dry, but I’d like it to be a bit more hydrated and I definitely want a boost of Vitamin C. Well, this might be the mask for you. This Lift & Luminate Triple Action face mask has both hyaluronic acid and Vitamin C to help do both of those things for you. It will also help your skin look more even, which is a big plus.

  • Jade Roller

Quick pro-tip! After removing your face mask for the recommended time (each package will tell you), take a jade roller, like the one here, and help the product really sink into the skin. Jade rolling can be really beneficial for working the products deeper and helping you get the best skin results possible.

  • Facial Steamer

Now that you’ve cleansed, exfoliated, and masked up, it’s time for the next step in your hydration journey giving your face steam. This is a very key piece of your at-home facial routine. This facial steamer is equipped with a purify light inside, which takes water and turns it into nano-sized water molecules to give you the best results for steaming.

  • No7 Firming Booster Serum

Do you want to tone and tighten up your skin? This firming booster serum is exactly what you are looking for. It’s formulated with “a highly concentrated amount of Matrixyl 3000+, No7’s powerful anti-wrinkle peptide technology,” to help your skin look younger.

  • Youthful Eye Serum

We all work really hard. And sometimes we get those dark under-eye circles that make us look super tired. For an under-eye serum that will help you eliminated dark circles, try this Youthful Eye Serum from No 7 Laboratories. This serum has a blend of hyaluronic acid, Vitamin C, and anti-aging Vitamin A to help hydrate and reduce dark spots.

  • Kiels Ultra Facial Cream

The final step in your at-home facial routine is of course moisturizer. Yes, we’ve done a lot of hydrating and moisturizing, but this is going to seal the deal. This Kiels Ultra Facial Cream is a great moisturizer that suits all skin types. It’s has a paraben-free formula that is designed to help hydrate any dry skin without weighing it down.

  • Bonus Product: EltaMD UV Clear Facial Sunscreen

Of course, we had to include a bonus product for you! It wouldn’t be a Must Have list about skincare without one of the basics of skincare; Sunscreen. You may not realize it but putting on a layer of sunscreen every day is actually really important for your skin. It doesn’t have to be hot or super sunny for you to need sunscreen. In fact, cloudy cooler days are one of the biggest ways people get bad sunburns. To help protect your skin from daily UV damage you need to utilize a good sunscreen. This one from EltaMD is probably one you’ve seen on TikTok lately. The product is lightweight and perfect for daily use.
