Soulja Boy Arrested For Violating Probation
Soulja Boy has gotten himself arrested again.
The 28-year-old “Crank That” rapper was taken into custody yesterday (Apr. 11), following a court hearing, as TMZ reports.
A judge ruled that the rapper and entrepreneur violated his probation by failing to do his court-ordered community service, and instead conspired to falsify evidence that he had completed it.
Soulja Boy is being held without bail, which will cause him to miss a performance that the rapper has scheduled on Apr. 13 because he’s expected to remain in custody until another court hearing, which isn’t scheduled until Apr. 30, according to Vibe.
Last month, Soulja Boy was arrested by police after ammunition was found in his home, which is also a violation of his probation.
Soulja Boy was sentenced to five years probation in 2017 due to an arrest three years earlier where the rapper was pulled over by cops for running a red light with a loaded gun in his car.
