SZA Shares 6 Variations Of Cover Art For ‘Lana’
Lana is coming. On Sunday night (Dec. 10), SZA shared six different variations for Lana, the deluxe version of her Grammy-nominated album SOS.
SZA, who’s real name is Solána Rowe, previously teased back in September that SOS will get a deluxe version.
“So the deluxe is like a whole ‘nother album, and it’s called Lana. It’s seven to 10 songs, and it’ll be out this fall,” SZA is heard saying in a fan-captured video at the show.
However, SZA reportedly walked back on those statements during the event, admitting that “We don’t actually have a plan.”
“We’re just playing some songs off the deluxe, and we’re just gonna play a couple of songs you already know,” the “Snooze” singer said. “It was really just — I just wanted to do something for free that was a vibe ’cause I was here in town. Literally, there’s no other point to this whatsoever.”
An announcement date for Lana has yet to be released.

SZA’s 2023 Accolades
It’s no secret that SZA’s SOS set the charts on fire. “Snooze” is the only song this year that has had a placement on the Billboard Hot 100 all year. It debuted at No. 29 on the Hot 100 chart and hit No. 1 on the all-genre Radio Songs chart. The song was a fan-favorite from her sophomore album and was released as a single over the summer. She later released a music video featuring Justin Bieber, who would then accompany her on an acoustic remix of the hit.
“Kill Bill” was another chart favorite where the singer got her first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. It has also spent the most weeks at No. 1 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Song chart, with 21 weeks surpassing the 20-week reign ofLil Nas X’s “Old Town Road,” featuring Billy Ray Cyrus.
As we head into the 2024 award season, SZA is nominated for nine Grammys. She is the most-nominated artist for this year’s award show.
