New England Has One Of The Best New Hotels
Spring break is officially behind us, and for some cities, it was a chance to showcase new establishments. Fifty Grande recently detailed the best new to open this spring, and a New England hotel made the list.
Now, “The hottest new American hotels of spring are ready to make your summer getaway actually happen,” they explain.
As someone who has often traveled during the spring, I believe certain hotel qualities seem to be of the utmost importance for this particular season. Of course, where you are going factors into the decision-making of where to stay, but I tend to always be in search of the highest-value hotel experience rather than simply the cheapest.
For example, on a recent trip when the kids were out of school, we opted for a larger hotel with more capacity. Given they were not sold out, this allowed for the potential to have more quiet floors. In addition, it had an indoor pool and sprawling breakfast buffet that came with the nightly reservation.
There were more expensive and newer hotel options closer to the main attractions, and there were also cheaper nightly options where meals were not included.
Looking at the overall plan for the trip helped decide which hotel would be the most accommodating. With all sorts of new hotels opening across the country, having options provides the opportunity to have choices. Furthermore, it’s a great sign about the state of the travel industry.
There are certainly those who explore adventures and specifically seek a new hotel to stay at. Whether it’s due to cleanliness or being an enthusiast of the hotel type, there is a thrill to staying in a newly opened hotel. In New England, the place that made the list might also mean you are experiencing a seaside vacation.
Newport Harbor Island Resort Is The New England Hotel Recognized
Located at 1 Goat Island in Newport, Rhode Island, the Newport Harbor Island Resort has rooms with a waterfront view.
It’s the quintessential New England coastal experience, with culinary celebrations, immersive activities, and personalized luxury,” the hotel states.
At this Newport location, you have the option to explore all the city has to offer or stay and relax, regardless of your room choice. “Rooms are done in light woods reminiscent of summer beach homes, and the saltwater pool sits right on the Narragansett Bay with views of the Claiborne Pell Bridge,” Fifty Grande explains.
Rooms here currently start at $188 per night. Furthermore, the hotel is only about 70 miles outside of Boston.
