Kanye West Provides Thousands of Meals to Those Impacted by Coronavirus
Kanye West is doing some good for his hood, the “Jesus Is King” rapper donated thousands of meals to his old Southside Chicago neighborhood as well as new residence in Los Angeles. We Women Empowered, a non-profit run by Josephine “Mother” Wade was the recipient in Chicago. Wade says that Kanye’s donation is going to help her provide three meals a day for elderly citizens affected by COVID-19.

The Dream Center in Los Angeles was also selected for a donation, the organization offers free drive-thru meals, seven days a week, for those affected by the Coronavirus. The Dream Center normally feeds about 7,000 people a day, with Kanye’s donation they can now serve 9,000 people.
