Donkey Kong Country and More Classics Coming To Nintendo Switch
If you are a Nintendo Switch Online subscriber, prepare to be excited because you are getting three new games on the service this month, and it includes one of the best classic platformers of all time. Donkey Kong Country is joining the Nintendo Switch’s SNES line-up, alongside SNES wrestling game Natsume Championship Wrestling and the EA-published NES title The Immortal.
CATCH THIS STORY AND MORE ON THE BREAKDOWN:
Ninja spoils the fact that he may apparently be going to YouTube after the fall of Mixer, Modern Warfare & Warzone ban wave apparently banning innocent players and what you can do about it, and Donkey Kong Country plus two other classics coming to Switch this month in new NES/SNES update!
These titles will join the current line-up next week on July 15.
Donkey Kong Country, a Rareware classic, is the highlight here–a SNES title with (for the time) jaw-dropping graphics that still to this day holds it’s own against newer and more modern platforming games. The last drop was in May and included the excellent Japanese puzzle title Panel de Pon.
The only real downside to this is that Donkey Kong Country was already included on the SNES Mini that was released a few years ago, so if you own that you already own this gem. But what games do you hope will eventually come to the Switch on their classics platform? If you have a suggestion, tweet it to us, at @CheckpointXP.
