Cardi B Threatens To Sue Troll Who Accused Offset Of Cheating
Cardi B does not play when it comes to people talking about Offset. The “Up” rapper took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to blast a troll who accused her husband of cheating. On Sunday (Aug. 20), a woman posted a photo and voice memo that she claimed to be Offset setting up a meeting with another woman. “Offset has allegedly cheated on Cardi B once again. How embarrassing,” the Twitter user captioned the post.
On Monday (Aug. 21), the Invasion of Privacy creator addressed the user’s post in a since-deleted voice note per XXL.
“So you guys are going to receive a letter from his lawyer,” Cardi B said in the post. “Because all these little games that you guys want to play online–it’s going to be over with.”
She added: “You’re going to be getting sued, and we’re going to make an example out of you. Yeah, and that was a terrible AI voice, by the way, so yeah, bye.”
Cardi B and Offset have always been very open about their marital issues which follows a recent incident.
In June, Cardi and Offset made headlines after the Migos rapper’s viral since-deleted post per Page Six: “My wife f—– a N—- on me gang yall n—– know how I come.”
Cardi responded to Offset’s tweet saying, “Don’t pay attention to the country man, y’all. I’m f—— Cardi B. If I was giving this p—- to anybody, it would be out. I’m just not anybody,” she said. I can’t [be] f—— no regular degular shmegular because they gon tell the world. I can’t f— nobody in the industry cause they gon tell too. So please boy, stop acting stupid. Don’t play with me.”
Earlier this month, he admitted that he lied about Cardi cheating and that it was nothing more than him having “few rounds of Casamigos tequila,” per PEOPLE. He also explained how he felt as though he didn’t owe fans an explanation for his actions.
“The delete is enough because at the end of the day them people don’t be really knowing what’s going on with us, for real,” he said.
