Have you seen or perhaps even “borrowed” a copy of Mariah Carey’s Christmas album vinyl from Massachusetts Representative Ayanna Pressley?
If so, she’d like it back.
Congresswoman Pressley took to Twitter this morning (December 3rd) with a “PSA or a warning depending on how you choose to take it” because she was having trouble locating what could in fact be her favorite Christmas album.
The album, officially titled Mariah Carey – Merry Christmas, was originally released in 1994 with 10 holiday hits, including Carey’s mega-smash All I Want For Christmas Is You.
While it has been re-issued several times over the years, it is unclear whether the album in question in Ayanna Pressley’s tweet an original release, or a re-release.
“Whomever “borrowed” my #MariahCare Christmas vinyl, return it. You can leave it at my office door, no questions asked,” Pressley’s tweet continued, acknowledging the hashtag typo in a follow-up.
“Y’all got me so heated I’m posting typos #MariahCarey”
Those knowing the whereabouts of Congresswoman Pressley’s Mariah Carey album can leave it at her Washington DC office in the Longworth House Office Building, or at her district office on River Street in Hyde Park.
We hope the Congresswoman is reunited with her album soon, because we can all agree, Mariah Carey is indeed a national treasure.
