You don’t see many people with actual cameras these days, with most people capturing images on their phones. And the GetUp Crew is no exception. Ramiro has over 7,000 this year alone! Pebbles has almost 3,800, Melissa a little over 3,700, and Leroy is taking up the rear with only 696! I’m baffled by that number!

Well the challenge with this post was for us to go through our 2022 pictures and find the one that is most memorable. It could have been a happy moment, proud moment, or moment that you didn’t know would mean something at the time. Here are our picks.

• Pebbles - I'm cheating and using a video

  During the time that my father’s health was declining, my friend Michelle had encouraged me to not only take pictures of him, but video. She said that after she lost her mother, it was a video of her that she kept coming back to. I took her advice and sang a song with him that we used to sing while he played the piano when I was a little girl. He died on March 8th. We sound awful, but to me it’s now the most beautiful sound in the world.

  If this is not the most random picture ever, I don’t know what is. Melissa, her friend Jamie, and basketball legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. At the casino of course. Love it!
